Set a default playback speed for YouTube videos

What This Does

This doodle automatically sets all YouTube videos to play at 1.5x speed by default. You can still adjust the playback speed manually whenever you want, but every video will start at 1.5x speed. This default can be changed to any value

How to Use

1. Add this page edit to Shaper
2. Navigate to any YouTube video
3. The video will automatically play at 1.5x speed
4. Adjust speed manually if needed
5. You can change the default playback speed by modifying the DEFAULT_SPEED value in the page edit code:

DEFAULT_SPEED = 1.5; // Change 1.5 to your preferred speed

For example:

• Set to 1.25 for a slightly faster pace
• Set to 2.0 for double speed
• Set to 1.75 for a balance between speed and clarity

Installation

Click "Add to Shaper" above to install this edit. Once added, it will automatically activate whenever you visit YouTube.

How to Use

1. Once you have the Shaper extension installed, click "Add to Shaper" above to install this edit.
2. Navigate to youtube.com.
3. Once added, it will automatically activate whenever you visit YouTube. All your videos will now run 1.5x unless manually changed.
